It is only common among the aliases you wish to include in your sample, and there do appear to be variances (within your sample), but I wouldn't expect you to notice them, nor would I expect anyone to admit to them if called on them, unity being to important to the cause.

You are correct about CH's approach. I agree that he attempts to manipulate people, but he isn't very good at it (imo). Other people here are much more successful at manipulation.

I take CH's flatteries for what they are, an attempt to sway me. I take your mentioning your "embarrassment" for what it is, also an attempt to sway me, and not a very clever attempt- same goes for most of the stuff that gets posted here to me. Feeling embarrassed for someone else is a very strange thing and says quite a bit about you. If Ch wants to discuss things, I will discuss things- no matter what I think of him. His responses and "cordiality" are not particularly important, a point I think you fail to grasp. I discuss things with you, and your cordiality or lack thereof is unimportant to me, and your motives are equally unimportant- unless you suddenly went bonkers, then I might simply ignore you. I don't enjoy people who are obviously off kilter.
