SunnComm Receives New Trading Symbol and Effective Date; SunnComm Will Begin Trading Under the New Symbol ``STEH' Effective Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002
PHOENIX, Nov 20, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SunnComm Technologies Inc. (OTC:SUNX) President Peter H. Jacobs today announced that SunnComm has received a new symbol (OTC:STEH) which will become effective tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002.
Effective immediately, First American Stock Transfer, the company's transfer agent, will be sending the new STEH certificates to those shareholders who had previously sent in their old SunnComm shares to be exchanged. The Depository Trust Corp. ("DTC") will physically exchange the shares they hold directly with First American Stock Transfer, who in turn will send DTC the new STEH replacement certificates. As a result, shareholders who have shares deposited into a brokerage account will not need to do anything further. Their share holdings will be automatically transferred to the new STEH symbol. Those shareholders who have taken physical possession of their certificates should forward them to First American Stock Transfer so that the physical exchange of their old SunnComm certificates for the new STEH replacement certificates can be completed as soon as possible.
For those shareholders who have previously ordered their physical certificates but have not yet received them, their shares will now be exchanged automatically or they will receive their new SunnComm Technologies replacement certificate directly from First American Stock Transfer. In the event they receive their old SunnComm physical shares after Thursday, they should immediately call 866/SUNNCOM to make arrangements to have the certificates exchanged for the new STEH certificates. SunnComm will begin contacting each shareholder through the mail or by phone immediately to ensure an orderly and expeditious exchange.
