LOL...I know it helps to let off some steam every now and then but as you know as well as I it didn't accomplish anything. <gg>

If I remember the situation correctly there is no program I know of that will overwrite a newer version with older outdated files. It's a safeguard function to keep us from trying something like that. There are programs that claim to remove all traces of Internet Explorer but I have never tried them. I have read that they do work. Then you could try installing the IE version you got on the cd.
