Based on their announced loss of over $1.00 vs a First Call estimate of a $0.26 loss, IMO, the "jump" is off a bridge with a large anvil.
For the record, I am long the stock. I'm not just stopping by to make a S.A. remark when I have no stake. I wish the numbers were better.
I have NO CLUE what the NINE people are doing, but as I do receive PCWEEK, INTER@CTIVE, PC MAGAZINE, and WIRED at the office I CAN tell you they are not advertising. Nor are their products getting anywhere near the space, if any, in the big aftermarket retailer's advertisements.
The situation, IMO, is totally ludicrous. I could have a cure for cancer, but if I "forget" or neglect to tell anyone about it, it won't make me a (explitive) dime!
I give up on this one. Time to admit I screwed up, sell it & refresh myself on the tax term "loss carryover".
