Hi Harry, it is the same BS... Wallstreet pro's do it all the time. Did you belive the Salomon upgrade today of semi equips? These people don't get it. Semi makers can't afford to built fabs costing $2 bil with less than $2bil return on it. Something has to give. If AMAT is laying off 10% of its workforce... they are probably thinking that the glory days may never return or even if it returns it will not be in less than 6 months. But the analyst seem to disagree and the market seem to agree with the analyst (or is it just shorts covering!). These analysts are there to rob average joe or jane of their money. I guess they have a lot of inventory of shares to sell to the public. Later, Suresh
