As this article points out, it is "Reason" against "Emotionalism," and reason is slowly but surely winning.

You will never know how happy it makes me to see the positions I have held on the "Environment" for thirty years going from a despised minority position toward a majority one. It is not there yet, and it will never be totally accepted.

The Greens are almost totally in control of the Media and Educational system. Children are indoctrinated with these ideas almost from birth, and this controls their thinking for a long time, if not forever. "Environmentalism" is still the most successful secular Religion in the World.

But we are now at the point where the "Kyoto" Treaty is a dead issue. If a future President signs it, it will never even be close to getting a majority in the Senate.
