You are dead wrong. In the message I responded to, you wrote "This is the crux of the matter, isn't it? What he was really saying was "I DON'T CARE"." I didn't a word about caring or not caring. You made that up out of whole cloth. You started all this with a straw man, stating "So your idea that your position satisfies the opinion of anyone other than yourself is baseless." I denied your straw man, responding "I have never expressed the idea that my position satisfies anybody other than myself. I am the one who has to live with myself, so I am the only person I need to satisfy." Not a single word about caring or not caring. You're the one who tried to bring caring into it. Presumably because you realized you had lost the point but couldn't stand to lose a point, so tried to shift the ground. Intellectual dishonesty. But I'm too ethical to let you get away with it. So what you are really saying is "Rather than lose an argument I would prefer to lie about other peoples' positions." Sad, but understandable for an intellectual midget. (With apologies to midgets everywhere.)
