Yeah I stopped by that EBay job fair at 6:30pm, maybe half way thru. Strictly a fact-finding visit. All I got to see was security guards and a small mob of confused people in business clothes. Apparently they got those 2000 people in the first couple hours, then locked the doors for self-preservation. The two Starbucks nearby were doing great and very well-dressed business. Anyway I've started following this thread... I'm still strategically bearish until some more of the 90's excesses get wrung out, but short-term it does me good to be exposed to some optimism. Took a 7% portfolio drawdown at the start of the october rally, and been happily in cash since then. I can't disagree that some tech stocks have got super-oversold and a reasonable corrective rally may run until end-of-year.
