If you owned Dell for the past 52 weeks would you want to sell?
Do you want the tax man to come by and take a chunk of your paper profits away?
No, if I owned Dell I'd try to hold out till the end of the year.
Maybe hedge (have you seen the open interest on calls?).
Just don't dump this huge profit onto my tax return during the same year that the raging bull has been running with my other stocks.
Prediction: High of 92 (post-split) in January.
