It is clearly evident to those who watch closely, that the President and Secretary Powell pay a great deal of attention to the opinions of Arab leaders, even if it doesn’t seem that way to many. FYI, it is Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.

There is no ‘delegitimizing’ going on, IMO, it is merely a recognition of the possible root causes for the world being “out-of-balance” over the last 100 years. The President is now trying to bring the world back into balance and proper proportion.

(Osama had warned in his latest tape that if the Coalition escalates its action, so will Al_Qaeda respond accordingly.)

If Osama is alive why would he defend Saddam, his weapons of mass destruction, and his Stalin-like 5 layers of Soviet Union style secret police? I see two possible explanations;
1. Osama is not as visionary, or as fair as he claims.
2. Osama is dead, and Saddam has falsified the tape in a devious attempt to hide from justice.

I personally believe that the second answer is correct, because it is my belief that God periodically sends evil into the midst of all peoples as a test.
