Gregor and all, how many times do you pray, not believing that God will answer? How many times does He answer quickly, as opposed to slowly? This just may seem trivial in comparison to the truly bigger prayers, but my son was playing in one of the last soccer games of the year, and I prayed under my breath, "God, please just give him one goal today." Just at that exact moment, he shot the soccer ball, past the goalie. He was amazed and surprised, and I was not. I have seen God answer immediately, and I have seen God answer over a period of years. But He always answers!
While I usually have bigger requests, I felt comfortable enough to approach Him with that request. God cares. God listens, even to the small requests. If He cares enough to listen to my small requests, how can I ever doubt Him, or His timing! :)Westi |
