A good start, on Israel's part would be to pull the settlements out of the Arab part of the proposed partition. Sharon hasn't shown any spine to control the Jewish settlers; and how can Israel be serious about peace, and a Palestinian homeland, when Israel keeps on developing it. That probably should be the first step.

I don't know the history well enough to be able to address it; I just know that today, the Palestinians are at fault. I have no doubt there have been wrongs committed against them in the past, but their actions are, simply, unjustifiable under ANY circumstances.

I'm not sure what they expect. If they kill enough innocent Jews the Israelis are just going to get up and move somewhere else?

We may, one day, recognize that 9/11 has a silver lining, in that it allowed us to awaken and begin to seriously fight terrorism.

Personally, I believe Islam is the problem, as it is a violent religion that condones the killing of innocents. Those, including the president, who assert that Islam is anything else, are just bowing to political correctness.
While it may not be politically correct to condemn the religion, I think the religion SHOULD be condemned, because it lies at the heart of the terrorism problem.
