I'm sure he got it straightened out and has learned a lesson. A few years ago Mike was about done siding his house when I had Sue call and pretend to be from the permit department. He wasn't home so she left a message that he needed to get a permit to tear off the siding and another permit to start siding again. I told him the next morning it was a joke.
