That's a specious conclusion based on your opinion and is not factual at all. No one is championing Saddam Hussein. As for the number of Iraqis he's killing, we don't know that, you never proved anything there after making your assertion. As for nuclear weapons, we've been through this. Tenet, head of CIA says they have none. Other assertions are simply to justify the unjustifiable invasion of Iraq. IMO

No, Karen, I never said they were standing up and saying, "you mean Americans should leave Saddam Hussein alone to kill Iraqis and build nukes" I said that by trying to prevent any action likely to remove Saddam Hussein from power, they were effectively supporting his regime, which does kill Iraqis and is trying desperately to build nukes. These assertions are not questioned by any serious observer of Iraq. When Hassan Kamel defected in 1995, he spilled the beans on three separate nuclear weapons programs, whose existence was instantly verified by the inspectors. The only debate is over details -- experts differ on the exact state of Iraqi weapons programs right at this moment. For goodness sake go read Ken Pollack or Kanan Makiya and stop arguing as if your determined ignorance of the situation in Iraq should persuade others that nothing is amiss there.
