I noticed that it mentions on that webpage that the dandelion seeds can be in horse feed. One of the farmers down in my area did a bit of interesting research a couple of years ago. He got several kinds of birdseed from various sources and had the seed analyzed to identify the plant species. One particular brand had about a dozen different seeds in it, and out of these, about half of them were fairly nasty non-native thistles and other noxious weed type plants which would easily become invasive. Just one of those innocent sources which most of us would never think of.
