since everybody on this thread only provides their limited anecdotal evidence of price INCREASES... siliconinvestor.com MIAMI (AP) - Burger King Corp. will slash the price of its double cheeseburger, the company said Friday as the fast-food industry tries to boost lagging sales by cutting prices. here's my anecdotal evidence of price decreases <g><ng> been to a Wal-Mart lately? how 'bout Dollar Tree or 99-Cents Only? used-car lot? tried to rent (not buy) an apartment? bought any refined aluminum? how about a TV? or a video game? a Sun SPARC server? how about a CLAVE needle-free IV connector? flown on an airplane, or stayed in a hotel? signed up at a health club, or bought home gym equipment? signed up for cellular service? frankly, except for 'markets' fcked up by the moron interventionists in our government (primarily healthcare, education, and housing, plus recently steel and agriculture) i am hard pressed to find a lot of stuff that is increasing in price. don't mind me if i don't hold my breath waiting for inflation.
