It's frustrating to keep repeating myself, but you just don't get it. We don't have to fight a war against the government because as long as the government can trust us to be armed under the protections of the second amendment, we can trust the government. The fall of that right will be the first sign of decompression, and you better start heading for cover.
I deeply resent your insinuation (creates terrorists out of frustrated 2nd amendment fanatics). You declare that defenders of the second amendment are fanatics, but the truth is we have a higher rate of voting, a higher rate of good citizenship, a lower rate of crime, a higher rate of church attendance -- the list goes on and on. There is no comparison between NRA members and other second amendment defenders with branch davidians and other nutcase outfits like the one we drove out of North Idaho.
Contrast NRA ethics and behavior with those of your left-wing groups like PETA, Earth First, and so forth. The latter want to every person on this planet what they should eat and how they should behave. The former just want to defend the rights we are all guaranteed under the constitution.

As for secrecy, the only people who aren't being heard from are the people we captured in Afghanistan, to whit: our enemies. They don't have rights. They do have a knee level basin so they can wash their stinking hands before prayer. They have three squares of culturally correct food. They don't have rights.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to take the left wing seriously, because their positions and the people they pick for spokesmen are so far out nobody wants them. That's why Bush is so popular, and it's really funny to see you people whining about secrecy and chipping away at rights, when in fact it's YOU who are doing that. I've already explained how. |
