Fascism is the invention of Benito Mussolini. It has a particular ideological content. That content differs markedly from Marxism- Leninism in key points. The justificatory ideology of the Communist Party of the PRC remains Marxist- Leninist. But even if you were right, how would that make a difference to our main discussion, which is that the collapse of totalitarian regimes hostile to the United States was not guaranteed by the failure of socialist economics to compete with capitalism?..........
