Capital P or Politricks Canada is a well known haven. The key to understanding Canada is one that the Liberal Party has held for many years and the little guy has it in his pocket right now. One part is knowing an essential difference between Canadians and Americans in the value they place upon certain ideals. Canadians want peace, this includes not being disturbed by America which has some rather loud parties. Americans want peace as well but they do not value peace as much as Canadians. The value that Canada places on concord is evident in our laws, inciting hatred is illegal in Canada. Americans, who enshrine the right of free speech have no such laws, in spite of this journalists rank Canada far ahead of the United States in freedom of the press. Canadians remember the FLQ all too well.
