I know that you and CH treat SI discussions as a game (as substantiated by your statements that they are ...sheeeesh).

I also have observed that most people project their own outlook onto others. Thieves, don't trust anybody, generous people expect others to be cheritable, etc. So, I can understand why you and CH treat everyone else as if they are trying to win a game that has no other benefit that scoring against thread participants.

"I wonder why the "point" is so important."

I suspect I am wasting time but here is my challenge to you. Would it be possible for you to consider this scenario in another frame of reference? Some of the participants claim not to be concerned about points, E is one of them. The evidence being the frequency that she has posited an apology or been willing to correct a statement when she found herself in error. No points in that.

What if it is simply a matter of trying to balance the scales of justice? What if E cares about an injustice that has been committed by one poster against another? What if she honestly believes what she says her motives are. That CH has caused harm to another poster, deliberately and with malice? What if she sees her sense of honor and human decency having been violated and continuing to be damaged by the on going presense of the poster who appears to be enjoying that? What if her sense of justice requires her to stand against that type of thing simply on principle? Are you able to consider a non-points oriented scenario?

"It's just curious."

If you are truly curious try considering this from a different paradigm and see what happens...
