Investors: Our patent covers simultaneous payment and download of digital information (point-of-sale). The commercialization of the internet gave this patent value.

You can buy anything you want to over the internet, and if it ships via a non-electronic means (mail, UPS, FedX, etc ..) then it does NOT violate the patent.

Do ISP's violate the patent? That is what the courts will determine, and that is why Compuserve is a defendant. My guess is that they do.

Does it cover downloadable fonts and such? Yes. That is why Adobe settled.

Does it cover a lot of the internet porno content? Yes. This is a classic example that violates many of the articles in our patent. Our firm has a lot of the larger national ISP's as customers, and it absolutely amazes me that:
- Over HALF of the TRAFFIC on the internet is sex related
- The whole industry could be shut down by E-DATA, if the patent holds up.

Does it cover transmitting a software key that unlocks software on a customer's CDROM? Yes, as long as the customer buys the key electronically. That is why IBM settled, although it wouldn't surprise me if they settled for $1.00, so E-DATA could get a strategic firm to settle.

I just picked up another thousand shares this morning with some of my profits from CTXS.

Good luck y'all.
