Alamos & National Gold Extend Due Diligence Period

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Further to our press release dated
October 28 announcing agreement to merger, Alamos Minerals Ltd.
and National Gold Corporation hereby announce that they have
mutually agreed to extend the due diligence review period by two
weeks, from the November 22, 2002 completion date to December 6,
2002.

It is expected that the merger will be completed by the end of
March 2003.
