The below chart is subject to the interpretation that, among some numerically significant group of investors, the decision has been made that the future is indeed perfect for QCOM. We have hugely outperformed the indices despite the reasoned arguments of Mucho and Shannon that we were richly valued at 23; despite the lingering doubts of many analysts that inventory issues are bound to affect growth soon.

We are up to 42 in the pre-market.I wonder who is doing all the buying. I wonder if we can actually sustain a price in this area. I wonder if we are in the midst of a bear market bubble equivalent to the bull market bubble we saw in 1999. Smaller in scope, certainly. But quite comparable when compared to the performance of the stock to the overall market.

Doggedly long, but preferring slow and steady upward movements to unsustainable spikes.
