I have considered it from other paradigms. We’ve actually had discussions here about the other paradigms. But E plays a points game when she argues (imo), and she always has. She likes to score and play gotcha, and it gets her into trouble (which she sometimes feels she needs to apologize for). Why are you being her “mouthpiece”? Maybe she’ll even agree with this. And maybe she won’t. But your analysis is simplistic, and doesn’t address the real point. The CH matter is not connected to my prior actions in any meaningful way. Using the past is a points gambit, to win her argument (she thinks) by making me the issue, and not what I, she, you, or they, did recently. or what happened in the matter at issue. It’s a common trick in arguments, when people are playing to win. With all your communication experience, how could you fail to recognize what she was doing?
