The accumulation of inventory is possible due to the low interest rates which are below inflation rate. But those high inventories will come back to bite the manufacturers in a month or two.

IMHO consumers are tapped out as far as credit can go and no new high paying jobs are created, except for some seasonal sales position for the holidays.

All that said WS and CNBC is still hard at work in luring people to put their savings at risk. It seems that nothing has changed since Y2K
