No, Jewel can't see the mutual enabling of the posse. To those with any understanding of human nature, though, it's classic mob behavior. Things people would be ashamed to do individually they do enthusiastically in mobs. Lynchings, whether physical or electronic, are classic examples. Too bad for them that in this case the intended lynchee didn't stand still for it.
