That's real cheap. Of course, there's no inflation in the US. In fact, there can't be any. Why? Because the index of inflation, namely the gold price, is nailed to the floor.

I have to tell you that in SA interest rates are around 18%. Inflation is alleged to be around 10% pa but I'm sure it's a lot higher.
