My dad the day trader
Last year more than 5,200 people participated in Pinellas County Schools' Teach-in, and the the event has become so popular that several schools work year-round to recruit volunteers.
At Cypress Woods Elementary School in East Lake, the day featured military personnel, engineers, police officers, firefighters, a trucker, a respiratory therapist, doctors, gymnasts -- even a day trader.

The hour-and-15-minute lessons in the Dover Middle School cafeteria also include more advanced work on patterns and functions, statistics, probability, geometry and measurement of angles, perimeter and area.
"This is more challenging than school," said Frankie, who proclaimed that one day he'll be a Wall Street day-trader who sells real estate on the side.
