Been to the amazon site lately?
No wonder that stock is climbing, I spent a lot of time (and money) there this weekend.

The notable improvements are the featured store products in electronics, lots of circuit city goods for example coming up, it really expands the offerings- and the "used and refurbished" sellers are a sort of ebay-like niche that ebay really doesn't support as well as amzn- Customer searching on features/products etc and seeing a refurbished seller against a new seller for a specific item. Its not like ebay where you have to sort through all this junk.

They have these new stores that show up on the pulldown search box as "beta"... restaurants and auto parts being 2 notable ones, so more expansion.

Lots of music downloads available now but I didn't have time to check how that works $$-wise. Maybe you need to download the entire CD and pay for it (which is not ideal)... also how do they break up the individual songs on the download... anyway they are working on something in this area at any rate.

One interesting omission for amzn shopping vs yahoo is you can not restrict your search by price. I'm sure thats deliberate.
