Arkansas has failed its 450,000 public school children by not devoting enough money to schools and distributing the money unfairly, the state Supreme Court said Thursday.

The state is in serious financial trouble. While I like Governor Huckabee, had he had any real competition I would have voted against him. If Mark Pryor (who won the Senate seat) had run against him, I'd actually have voted for Pryor.

I have two major complaints with Huckabee:

1) He released Wayne Dumond, a convicted rapist who raped a relative of Clinton's. Dumond was castrated and his testicles were reportedly kept in a jar on the desk of the sheriff who did it. There was a reported Clinton connection to the sheriff. Anyway, Dumond was released from prison a year or two ago and promptly went out and killed someone. Dumond should never have been released.

2) Huckabee opposes casino gambling in our state, while Mississippi and Louisiana both have casino gambling. Both have tons of money rolling in from surrounding states, while we are GIVING UP money that would come into this state. Last year various college scholarship programs were cancelled because of lack of funding...
