Oh, I did want to mention that I took my wife and son to a Bob Dylan concert at the Patriot Center, in Northern Virginia, last Friday. It was great! The new band is a wonderfully sophisticated unit, and Bob has made various new arrangements to emphasize the rock and roll elements of his catalogue. He has learned to how to deal with the defects of his latter- day voice (too much cocaine, nasal damage), both stylistically, and with the help of a sound board and engineer. They played for almost 2 and a half hours straight, and it was wonderful.......
