I am merely pointing out that the fact of Saddam running a cruel regime that allows and condones torture on not only men but women and children is not sufficient justification for "regime change", because even a US ally is notorious in this area.

What I am saying is that if you want to support the all-out invasion of another country, you need to find better justification. If it were reason enough, than the US should also be contemplating regime change in Turkey, instead of being best-buddies with them.

Last I heard, it was the European Union that was considering admitting Turkey, so you can spare us your high and mighty moralizing concerning support of that "regime".
