Price type is a number that encodes how prices are represented internally in QCharts and the service. Each symbol has a price type, although in principle it could change arbitrarily.

The price type column was added to the T&S window as a diagnostic, at a time when they were changing (e.g., NASDAQ decimalization).

Some of the codes:

0 -- whole numbers
1-10 -- binary fractions (e.g., 1/256ths; obsolete)
11 -- 1-digit decimal
12 -- 2-digit decimal
13 -- 3-digit decimal
20 -- 10-digit decimal
31 -- 256ths as 64ths and 1/2 64ths (used by some futures contracts)
