Bizarre world when the two central banks looking to fight deflation are trying to devalue their currencies with respect to each other ... ananova.com They keep trying to treat the symptom and not the disease. Devaluation won't work since the rest of Asian competes on their cheap currency and their cheaper labor. Both economies are hollowing out manufacturing, except US is also hollowing out the financial base as well.
