The Kyoto Accord debate is very heated.

In Alberta they proclaim that Canada accounts for only 2% of all world emissions, they neglect to mention that Albertans are among the worlds highest per capita emitters of greenhouse gases. The intense resource based nature of Alberta's economy coupled with western Canada's low population density makes Albertans leaders on the emissions scale. Ontario has similar concerns but they are not in the spotlight like Alberta and the damage done to their economy will be far less.

How does this sound...
7% GST (Goods and Services Tax)
3% KAT (Kyoto Accord Tax)
