Feeley ?

I wouldn't expect much though I wouldn't expect a disaster either. A.J. probably has a stronger arm than Detmer, is physically stronger but not close to Koy in experience.

Don't forget, Detmer runs the scout offense against one of the best Ds in the league every day for the last 5 years, prepares along with McNabb as if he were to start. Feeley knows he's not in there unless both go down.

My thinking is that Detmer will play hurt if at all possible, if they let him ... after McNabb fiasco, they may not be willing to "look the other way". He's definitely out for St. Louis but wouldn't shock me if he wants to play the following week.

Here's the list of "availables" posted on Comcast this morning:

Who should the Eagles contact if Detmer's injury is long term ?

Dave Brown
Anthony Calvillo (Grey Cup MVP)
Randall Cunningham
Elvis Grbac
Jim Harbaugh
Glenn Foley (Arena Football League MVP)
Ryan Leaf
Matt Lytle (Panthers backup in 2001)
Tee Martin (Steelers backup in 2001)
Scott Mitchell
Ron Powlus
Anthony Wright (Cowboys starting QB in 2001)

Not a whole lot to pick from there ...

Dave Brown has an advantage in that he's been doing postgame analysis this year so he's watched film of them all year long.

Let's just hope we're not watching Brian Mitchell taking snaps in the 3rd quarter against the Rams !
