Old news, John, for any observer of Q's finances but thanks anyway for the objective corroboration of the obvious.

I have snickered whenever Eric posted the GSM/CDMA figures which regularly show CDMA about to go into a tailspin. Somehow, someway, don't ask me how or why, Q's actual results have never mirrored such a bleak landscape. If we followed that measure exclusively, a lot of us would have sold Q a long time ago. I don't necessarily think that the CDMA sub figures are accurate. In any event, they do not mirror the reality of Q's higher net revenue.

P.S.: The June and December '99 quarters probably show the revenue from the money-losing handset division that was sold to Kyocera. You need to look at the net earnings instead of revenue, otherwise the handset figures will skew your results. The revenue now is of a much higher quality, with higher margins, than previously.

That, John is the fly in the ointment.
