My right to own a gun is protected by the 2nd amendment
As I have shown, that right as insisted upon by the NRA and granted by Ashcroft protects virtually nothing. The important parts have been gutted, but the viceral and dangerous parts are all that remain. Without actual checks and balances this right, and all others, are favors granted at the whim of those who control.

Rights are not favors granted by an authority, rights are those powers the authority cannot take away.
