I would quibble with the accuracy of that statement. Yes, the Bloc is comprised of separatists. I would argue, though, that the Bloc will find it challenging to hold the 35 seats it has now, let alone grow. At the moment separatism is on the back burner in Quebec -- the people there are tired of pissing away their energies on it at the expense of very real issues of public policy that have been neglected for a generation. That's Super Mario's appeal -- he's not saying you have to renounce separatism, just that there are way higher priorities right now. IMHO it's a stretch to say that separatism is alive and well. Note that I am not saying that can't change, just that it's not there right now.
