me-Limit piecemeal GTC orders only- best strategy for me-long and trading position.

I also suspect some tax loss selling by piecemeal longs who bought high, and want the ST tax loss for this year. This will continue till the end of next month. Wash sale rule, not to many days left. I wouldn't want to be left replacing shares on Dec 27, 30,31. When will Mr. Freedman name a successor, and will it be Mr. Orcutt as I presume. I suspect at the end of NBSC fiscal year. Any guesses?
Next quarter will be a hard match, but balance sheet improvement and continued black ink cut risk.

05:19 PM DJ Fisher Sci/Acquisitions -2: Cos Have Combined Rev $22M/Yr

HAMPTON, N.H. (Dow Jones)--Fisher Scientific International Inc. (FSH) is acquiring two foreign companies with combined annual revenue of $22 million for a total purchase price of $55 million.

In a press release Monday, Fisher said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Maybridge Chemical Holdings Ltd., a U.K. provider of organic compounds and combinatorial libraries for use in drug discovery. Fisher expects to close this deal by the end of the month.

Fisher also completed the acquisition of Australia's Mimotopes Pty. Ltd., which makes custom peptides and peptide libraries used in scientific research.

Together, the two companies have earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $6 million.

However, Fisher doesn't expect the deals to impact 2003 earnings per share because of spending to integrate the businesses into Fisher's existing chemical business.
