OK I know nothing. I am a girl and what do women know anyway. I am a lonely housewife in Iowa seeking entertainment on SI because my husband checks the internet sites I visit when he comes home at night.

What I don't understand is what all this is to you.

To answer your question, we are not quoted on the stock market so sorry you will not be able to short our fund.

If there is anything else I can do to help, let me know.

By the way, while it is not the one and only method of judging the merits of a company, P/E is still a good indication of valuation, especially in the post-bubble mayhem we currently live. Your statement "P/E is a near-meaningless method of valuation for this sector" has more than a passing resemblance to the way lossmaking tech stocs were pumped up in the recent past. And we all know what happened shortly afterwards.

If my problem is pointing all of this out to you, then so be it

Let's see...

Your problem seems to be insufficient manners and little understanding of civility in conversation, especially with women. You are frustrated and hostile. While you might have a point from time to time, I suspect your aggressive way of putting them forth prevents them from being appreciated on the internet, or even possibly in real life.

Your hour is up and the next session will not be free of charge :)
