I've been reading this thread for a while now and on occasion I pipe in with a question or comment. I'm neither technically, nor financially informed when it comes to investing. I tend to buy on a hunch. Sure, I bought CHPS because it of it's low P/E but more because of the prosepects of flat panel displays. I don't really get the P/E thing anyway! Earnings doesn't really reflect the true value of a company.

With all due respect to the traders out there, this quarter to quarter stuff is driving me nuts. It's interesting for sure but goes against all the stuff "they" say about buying and holding. Can we look a few years out...is there any reason this thing won't be trading a lot higher. Sure there is competition but there is a huge market.

I bought DSLGF at 6 bucks and one year later it's trading at 24. I didn't know a thing about it's P/E either...still don't. I have the same feeling about CHPS. Am I alone?
