Personally, I am still long-term bearish and still believe this is a bear market rally, in the whole market including semis and including NVLS. The excesses of the 90's simply have not been worked off yet, the US economy is sick under the surface.

However: (a) this rally may run further, there is NO sign of it rolling over yet. And (b), there is at least one case (1982) where a bear market snapback rally just kept going and turned into a new bull. So, IMO a person would be best to stand back and wait-and-see before shorting right now.

If you want to short NVLS, be aware that all the major front-end semi equip stocks move together with a correlation >90%. So you MUST ask yourself, would I short AMAT and KLAC right now? They're really all the same stock.
