While there is certainly lots of junk, my personal opinion is that they are way overpriced in front of what will continue to be diminishing or static interest, at best, in online trading. Based on what I've seen and experienced with various online brokerages, and know of AMTD and Datek's history, they're more interested in filling their pockets using whatever tactics they can conjure. Like their real-world brothers, their greed will probably compromise their future for the sake of a few added cents today. I also have a general disregard for banks and other entities that take your assets under one set of pretenses then stealthfully shift the rules in their favor via finely printed addendums squeezed between unsolicited advertisements. So maybe some is personal, but I don't think people will tolerate that as much as they used to. AMTD 5.06 Message 18260137
