Robert I agree, in Jan 02 I watched a CSPAN DOD presentation about the most promising systems in the arsenal and Aegis was at the heart of it. KVHI made huge contributions to the Improvements in that system. I am hoping that they have upgraded the whole fleet. The Gun can knockdown a missle in the Descent phase while the Ascent phase attack is done with a standard inventory missle because of the speed and distance. Aegis systems have the potential to be taken off ship and become land based defensive system an entire coast line could be protected using the systems, it is advanced internetworked components that work really well. KVHI has some sweet technology if you understand the applications and the directions those applications are migrating too.
