Several years ago I figured why cook a turkey and all the sides for two of us. Well, the 9 of us because the critters got most of the leftovers which were plenty. Years ago when we did dog field tests I'd buy a large, fresh turkey on sale after a holiday and cook everything but the breast on the grill. I'd freeze the breast and later smoke it on the grill for sandwiches during the dog trials.
