The following is the latest news on Baron Gold Corp: NEWS RELEASE July 22, 1997 Major Copper-Platinum-Palladium Discovery in Close Proximity to Baron's "Flap" Property Based on the excellent Platinum-Palladium values in Porphyry Copper intersections on the "Dobbin" property (announced July 20, 1997) held by Verdstone and Molycor, located approximately 15 miles west of Kelowna, B.C., Baron Gold Corp. plans to intensify its interest in the nearby "Flap" property. The "Flap" is only 1 « miles from the "Dobbin" and Baron Gold is Joint Ventured with Verdstone Gold Corp. and Molycor Gold Corp. Additionally, our consulting geologist has spent several days on our "Strebe" gold property, located in the Nakusp, B.C., area. Previous work has produced drill indicated and inferred reserves of 75,000 oz. of gold. Our drill program is expected to substantially increase these reserves and we will report specific drill target dates shortly.
