Sorry, but I do think importance is subjective. It is entirely a functionof what we consider to be important.

The differences between porpoises and sharks may well be trivial to the biologist studying the circulatory system. I dont' know enough about their circulatory systems, but I can see that for a marine anatomy class it may not matter much -- be of no importance -- whether you are dissecting a porpoise or a shark. To the person looking for a good underwater photograph to publish in National Geographic the difference may be irrelevant -- either one may do as long as they make a good photograph.

If I am handed two bullet fragments the differences may mean nothing at all to me personally, but to my client, and to me in my role as a defense lawyer, they may mean life or death. Context.

I don't think there is a single thing that one can say is always important to every person. Or that has the same level of importance to every person on earth at every moment of their lives.
