It appears that iSCSI may be a life saver for the SCSI disk and tape drives. The general perception that FC drives will displace SCSI drives may be incorrect if iSCSI turns out to be a success. As QLGC is a major supplier of SCSI controllers, the market may continue to grow for a few more years ahead. And QLGC may become a major supplier of iSCSI HBAs as well.
