A response from the Editor of Arab News.com with regard to my urging that this fraudulent act on the part of the recipients of this "charitable" aid from Princess Haifa be strongly prosecuted under Sharia (since the funds were not used for what they were intended):

Dear Mr. XXXXXXX:

There is no proof of any criminal act. Mr. Basnan's interview already
appeared in Arab News. He is not a culprit and walked in our office
freely.
Princess Haifa herself is above reproach not because she is a princess
but
is a noble woman with sterling qualities.
Respectfully,

Khaled Al-Maeena
